FAQ’s
Can siblings attend classes?
Siblings are allowed to attend classes at no extra charge. We welcome siblings to sit in on classes if they are older or younger than the child who is enrolled in the class. In addition, we also have a safe and secure playroom in which siblings can spend the duration of the class time.
Can we do a payment plan?
Yes. Typically class fees can be broken into 4 or 5 equal installments; however, other payment arrangements can be made. Let us know what needs you may have.
Do siblings get a discount?
Yes. A typical discount includes full payment for the child with the least amount of tuition due and 15% off of all tuition. Special considerations may be made to accommodate families with more than three children.
What if we decide that our child doesn’t like the class or if we need to stop coming for another reason?
We require a two-week minimum notification of a child dropping a class. You will only be charged for the classes you have attended plus the two weeks following the notification. If you have paid more than this amount, your money will be refunded, or you can use this money as a credit for another child or future classes.
Do you take credit cards at the school?
No. The preferred method of payment is a check, even for the drop-in classes. In addition we do not keep change on site and any amount paid over will be used as a credit for future classes.
Do you have a scholarship program?
This is in the process of being developed and is based on financial need. If your child is interested in applying for a scholarship, please let us know!
My child has special needs. Will they fit in at your school?
Yes! We will do our best to accommodate the needs of all children!
How do we register?
Please PRINT the registration form on our website and fill it out. Or, if you stop by the school to participate in a class, we have registration forms there. A $40 deposit is required to begin classes at the school if the class is not a “drop-in.” A registration form is required either way.
How do we know if you are closed due to weather?
We follow the Midland Public School’s decision on weather cancellations. If Midland Public Schools are closed, we are closed unless you are notified otherwise via a phone call. For weekend classes we will attempt to call all families before 9 a.m. to advise of weather cancellations.
Do you only offer piano?
No. While most of our group classes focus on piano skills, as this is very valuable for all children (even those who want to learn other instruments), all classes involve other instrument play on various percussion instruments. We also offer guitar classes and beginning private instrument lessons on any wind instrument (such as flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, etc.). Information is also available regarding percussion and string teachers in the area if you are interested in such lessons.
